Stuart Bryan

Chief Executive Officer

Stuart joined RTI in late 2012 with an objective of increasing growth through an expansion of services to the industrial water industry and an intense focus on superior customer service.

Stuart has spent over 25 years successfully leading a number of middle market companies that were experiencing significant growth and operating issues. Through the aggressive implementation of improved manufacturing processes, stronger project management skills, introduction of new technologies, and execution, and expanded employee communications programs, these companies have been able to show transformative turnarounds in a range of operating and customer service measures.

With a particular focus on cash generation through manufacturing improvements, working capital management and specific sales targeting, examples of improved results include doubled inventory turnover, on-time delivery rates near 100%, product lead times cut in half, significant quality improvements, and, most importantly, significant sales increases in short periods of time. Strong growth and increased profitability has lead to increased enterprise value and market impact with both established products and new technologies.

John Finley

President

John joined the RTI team in September, 2003 as General Manager. During his 10 years as General Manager, he was instrumental in developing many innovative programs. He implemented RTI’s EconoTrac program, which plots monthly operating costs, accrued water plant savings & effectively forecasts the health of the resin. He also played a pivotal role in the introduction of RTI’s patented revolutionary Restore + On-Site Resin Restoration process, an innovative new way to clean, adding years of life to resin. In December, 2012, John was named Chief Operating Officer. John’s role as COO is to continue to strive for success and growth through his energetic and tactical demeanor.

William E. Bornak

Chief Technical Officer

Bill has worked in water treatment for over 45 years. His specialties include ion exchange and reverse osmosis. Bill started at Rohm and Haas, spending 10 years in research and the ion exchange departments. He spent 20 years at Betz Laboratories, now BetzDearborn, serving as a corporate ion exchange sales consultant, and director of training. In 2001, Bill left BetzDearborn to start Aqueous Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in ultraquality water treatment. Bill has given over a thousand seminars and training sessions and published a book on ion exchange water treatment, entitled “Ion Exchange Deionization for Industrial Users”. He has also published over twenty technical papers.

Bill has an honors degree in chemistry from La Salle University and did graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Michael Swindells

Michael received my Bachelors of Science degree from Lamar University with minors in Chemistry and Biology.  He has worked in the water treatment industry for 18 years, including positions with both Nalco and ChemTreat.   Michael has extensive experience working with water clarification and demineralization, along with boiler, cooling tower, and waste water treatment.  He has performed water treatment services in numerous types of plants across the country including but not limited to refineries, chemical plants, power plants, and paper mills.

Michael is currently in charge of all customer relationships in the Southeastern U.S.

Joel Shulman

Laboratory Manager

Joel joined RTI as the head laboratory technician out of the Warminster, PA office in 2015 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. The Monroe, LA laboratory and Warminster laboratory consolidated to Warminster in 2016 and, in 2017, Joel became the Laboratory Manager of the Warminster, PA full resin testing laboratory. The laboratory processes over 1000 resin samples per year and typically turns around results within 5 business days. The lab analyzes the ionic fouling on all resins, the efficacy of RTI resin cleanings, and performs small scale test cleanings for all new and existing customer evaluations. Joel has attended yearly water conferences with RTI and has visited with the Sales Director on the road. In his spare time, Joel enjoys watching sports, tv, and movies. Joel enjoys being active as well, being an avid golfer, bowler, and traveler.

Travis Bryant

Operations Supervisor

Travis began his career with RTI on July, 2006.  He began as an operator working out of our Monroe LA Operations Center.  Travis was in the field and learning the many cleaning processes used by RTI.  Travis quickly moved up the ranks when he was promoted to Lead Operator.  This position gave Travis the ability to interact with the plant operators and to take on a major role in our quality control.  In 2012 Travis was again promoted, this time to Operations Supervisor.  Travis is currently in charge of our Monroe, LA Operations Center.  You will still see Travis out in the field.

Bob Finley

Lead Operator

Bob has been with RTI since 2007.  Bob started off as a part time operator working out of our Warminster, PA office.  In 2012, Bob relocated to Monroe LA as a full time employee.  In 2014 Bob was promoted to Lead Operator.  Bob enjoys seeing the country as he travels from State to State for RTI.  Bob also enjoys fishing and hunting.
